MAPflow on the Move: Highlights from Our Cross-Canada Journey
June 25, 2025
Over the past few months, MAPflow has been coast to coast, connecting with pharmacy communities across Canada. From conferences to workshops, it’s been an incredible opportunity to meet so many passionate pharmacy professionals and learn more about the unique landscapes in each province. Let’s take a moment to appreciate all the amazing places we’ve been and the people we’ve met.
📍 Pharmacy U Toronto, April 5th, 2025
With over 1000 registrants, MAPflow was able to connect with countless pharmacy professionals and industry leaders at our booth. Our CEO, Dr.Nardine Nakhla, spoke multiple times during the conference, sharing her insights about minor ailments and the optimization of pharmacist-led care.
📍 PEI Pharmacists Association, May 2nd, 2025
In December of 2024, we announced our innovative partnership with the Prince Edward Island Pharmacists' Association (PEIPhA). Together, we have revolutionized how Island pharmacy teams deliver healthcare services.
This May, we were able to visit the province and meet many of the pharmacists we are collaborating with. MAPflow is proud to support 100% of PEI pharmacies. We were especially happy to connect with Erin MacKenzie, Executive Director of PEIPhA, in person. She has been an advocate for MAPflow and a leader in pharmacy for the entire province.
📍 New Brunswick Pharmacists Association Conference, May 23rd, 2025
MAPflow was proud to sponsor and attend this year’s conference—an annual gathering of pharmacy professionals and leaders dedicated to advancing practice across the province.
Our CEO, Dr. Nardine Nakhla, and CTO, Michael Sevestre, engaged with many attendees and heard valuable insights about how pharmacy practice is evolving in New Brunswick.
Dr. Nakhla also delivered a presentation titled “MAPping the Future: MAPflow’s Insights and Next-Gen Features for NB Pharmacy Practice,” highlighting innovations and upcoming tools designed to support the province’s growing pharmacy landscape.
📍 Herizon Rx, June 5th, 2025
Our CEO, Dr.Nardine Nakhla, joined a panel of incredible women at this sold-out event. Alongside Shivali Sharma, Nneka Ezurike, Sandy Faheim, and Stacey D’Angelo, Nakhla discussed her entrepreneurial journeys, the realities of leadership, and how she’s building the most innovative clinical support platform.
📍 Ontario Pharmacists Association Workshop, June 8th, 2025
Our CEO, Dr. Nardine Nakhla partnered with the Ontario Pharmacists Association (OPA) to deliver a five-hour interactive workshop. MAPflow provided pharmacists across the province with access to our platform in this session and equipped them with strategies to identify inefficiencies, streamline operations, and enhance patient care. Our Clinical Services Director, Kenny Chong, helped to facilitate the workshop alongside Kathy Tam, Rosemary Killeen, Jen Belcher, and Ruth Ackerman.
📍 Canadian Pharmacy Education and Research Conference (AFCP), June 17th, 2025
At the 2025 Canadian Pharmacy Education and Research Conference (CPERC), hosted by the Association of Faculties of Pharmacy of Canada (AFPC), Kristi Van Gaalen from the University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy and Debra Sibbald from the University of Toronto Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy presented how they’re using MAPflow to prepare students to prescribe for minor ailments through interactive, case-based learning. Their session demonstrated how MAPflow supports the development of clinical reasoning, decision-making, and prescribing confidence—essential skills for pharmacists as their scope of practice continues to grow.
The MAPflow team was also in attendance, connecting with educators and researchers from across the country to explore how digital tools like MAPflow can help shape the future of pharmacy education in Canada.
